Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

These Terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Zoomoff. They describe the rides and parcel-delivery service, how payments and fees work, what riders, senders, drivers and couriers are responsible for, and the limits of our liability. Please read the Privacy Policy too — it explains what data we collect and why.

1. Who we are & what Zoomoff is

Zoomoff ("Zoomoff", "we", "us") is a technology platform, operated by Zoomoff Ltd (RC 9583596), No. 1, Arondizuogu Street, Garki, FCT, Nigeria, that connects people who need a ride or want to send a parcel with independent drivers and couriers who provide the transport.

We are a marketplace, not a transport company. Drivers and couriers are independent providers, not our employees. Zoomoff does not itself carry passengers or goods; it lets you find, book, pay for and follow a trip or delivery, and handles the platform around it (matching, pricing, payments, ratings and safety tools).

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, entering your phone number to continue, or booking a ride or delivery, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. When you book a parcel you also tick a specific box confirming you accept these Terms and that your parcel contains no prohibited items. If you do not agree, please do not use Zoomoff.

3. Eligibility & your account

4. Rides

Booking & fares

Before you book, we show an estimated fare based on the route, distance, time and the ride option you choose. The final amount can differ if the route, stops or conditions change. For a carpool option, the price you see is the standard fare; it may reduce if another rider is matched to share the trip.

Cancellations, waiting & no-shows

During the trip

Treat drivers and their vehicles with respect. Do not ask a driver to break traffic laws, carry more passengers than the vehicle allows, or transport prohibited items. Wear seatbelts and follow safety rules.

5. Parcel delivery

Zoomoff lets you send a parcel by bike or bicycle courier. When you book you must confirm that your parcel does not contain prohibited items and that you accept these Terms.

Prohibited items

You must not send, and a courier may refuse or hand to the authorities, anything that is illegal or unsafe, including but not limited to:

Your responsibilities as a sender

6. Drivers & couriers

7. Payments, wallet & refunds

8. Ratings & conduct

Riders and drivers rate each other after a trip. Ratings help keep the community safe. Be respectful. Harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe behaviour, or damaging a vehicle or property is not allowed and may lead to removal from the platform. Report problems through the app.

9. Safety features

Important — please read. Zoomoff's safety tools (share your trip, SOS, off-route alerts, reporting) are best-effort aids, not an emergency service. SOS and trip-sharing notify the trusted or emergency contacts you have added, and log the incident for our safety team — they do not automatically contact the police, ambulance or any emergency service on your behalf. In a real emergency, always call the Nigerian emergency line (112 or 199) or your local police directly. A shared-trip link shows your live trip to anyone who has the link until it expires.

10. Things you must not do

11. Suspension & closing accounts

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, poses a safety or fraud risk, or where required by law. A suspended account is signed out and blocked from booking or going online. You can ask to close your account at any time; some records may be kept as explained in the Privacy Policy and as required by law.

12. Disclaimers & limits of liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep matching, pricing, maps, ETAs and the app reliable, but we do not guarantee that a driver or courier will always be available, that estimates are exact, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Because Zoomoff is a marketplace connecting you with independent providers, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, driving, conduct or goods of drivers, couriers or other users. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Zoomoff is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to a trip or delivery is limited to the amount you paid Zoomoff for that trip or delivery. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. You agree to indemnify Zoomoff against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.

13. Changes, law & contact

We may update these Terms as the service changes; we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Zoomoff means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the Nigerian courts.
